Prize $600 for tuition by a recognised teacher or Institution agreed to by the Eisteddfod Committee.

NB Competitors must have competed in at least 2 other solo piano sections to be eligible and must be studying music in Orange.

** Throughout her 40 year career as a primary school teacher, Ann attempted to inculcate in her pupils a desire to strive for excellence. She had a great love of classical music, particularly piano forte, and felt that more should be done to encourage young people to pursue artistic careers.
